My PracticeI am a licensed clinical psychologist and certified hypnotherapist with a private practice in Brooklyn Heights, New York. My focus is developing and enhancing creativity. Most of my clients are writers, musicians, and visual or performing artists. I also help people who don't consider themselves artists to discover their creative gifts. I work with individuals and small groups. My office is convenient to both Manhattan and Brooklyn. If you are interested in a consultation, email me at dr.sue at mindspring.com. I also volunteer for the Doctors of the World Human Rights Clinic, which helps torture survivors seeking political asylum in the US. I began conducting psychological evaluations of refugees in 2001; started mentoring new mental health volunteers in 2003; and began conducting training seminars on addressing the psychological sequelae of torture in 2007.
